This Privacy Policy explains how BrandPulse Panel ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects the personal information of individuals who apply to or participate in our consumer research panel through brandpulsepanel.com (the "Site"). By submitting an application or otherwise interacting with the Site, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

When you apply to the panel, we collect the information you submit on our application form, which may include:

• Full name
• Email address
• U.S. state of residence
• Age range
• Consent confirmation

If you are accepted into the panel and choose to complete a member profile, we may also collect additional demographic information (household composition, employment status, household income range, product ownership, lifestyle preferences) to help match you with relevant surveys.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through your device and browser, including:

• IP address and approximate geographic location (city/state level)
• Device type, operating system, and browser
• Pages visited, time spent on each page, and referring website
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)

1.3 Information from survey participation

When you complete a survey as a member, we collect your answers and link them to your member ID. Personally identifiable information is separated from survey responses before responses are delivered to research clients.

2. How we use your information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• Application review: to evaluate your eligibility for the panel
• Communication: to send survey invitations, application status updates, panel notifications, and service-related emails
• Survey matching: to invite you to surveys that match your demographic profile
• Aggregated research delivery: to deliver de-identified, aggregated survey data to research clients
• Site operation: to maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Site and our services
• Fraud prevention: to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
• Legal compliance: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from authorities

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Research clients: Aggregated and anonymized survey responses are shared with the brands, agencies, or research firms that commission those surveys. Clients do not receive your name, email, or contact details.
• Service providers: We share information with third-party vendors that help us operate the Site and deliver our services (e.g., email delivery, hosting, analytics, fraud prevention). These vendors are contractually bound to use the information only on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BrandPulse Panel, our members, or others.
• Business transfers: If BrandPulse Panel is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections of this policy.

4. Email communications

By submitting an application, you consent to receive emails from BrandPulse Panel regarding panel applications, survey invitations, member notifications, and related service communications. You may unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or by contacting [email protected]. Service-related communications (such as account or legal notices) may continue regardless of marketing preferences.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure traffic and engagement, and improve functionality. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.

We may use third-party analytics and advertising services (such as Meta Pixel and Google Analytics) that set their own cookies. Those services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

6. Your privacy rights

6.1 General rights

Regardless of where you live, you may at any time:

• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information

6.2 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising in the CCPA sense), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights. 6.3 Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit a verifiable consumer request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share Request" and include your full name, email address, and state of residence.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your panel account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely. If your application is not accepted, we retain your application data for up to 24 months for fraud prevention and audit purposes, after which it is deleted.

8. Data security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and routine security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site and our panel are intended for U.S. residents age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.

10. International users

The Site is operated from and directed to the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.

11. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any information.
